The Head Girl speaks…

22nd March, 2016. I dragged my feet as a reluctant caterpillar inside this red bricked institution as my parents dropped me off at the gate. They said “Courage, Aakarshi. Be yourself and never stop chasing your dreams”
Dreams – The word dreams still rings in my ears as I share this moment with all of you on this prestigious platform entitled as the Head girl of Amity International School.
For this, I am deeply grateful to our founder sir Mr. Ashok K Chauhan, Chairperson ma’am Ms. Amita Chauhan, Principal ma’am and teachers for converting my mistakes into lessons, skills into strengths and dreams into reality and to my seniors who have been the quintessential guides and being someone who I can look up to.
Today, I vow to always give you my utmost best and be an active leader. But as I live out my dream today, I still have a dream for all of us.
I have a dream that we all will imbibe and impart the vedic wisdom of ‘Abhivadan Shilayasa’ rooted deep in our values and culture.
I have a dream that all the students, teachers, principals, parents and management will synergise together in thought and action in the common quest for self discovery and self learning.
I have a dream that we all will uplift Amitasha students in the best of our abilities and provide light to the ones lost in the dark.
I have a dream that we all will make Amity International School, Sector 46, the best school.
On these dreams I live, for these dreams I die.

Thank you.

Aakarshi Agarwal
